Bangladesh Business Delegation Official Visit To India

Mr Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman (Nasir) CIP, Founder President, Bangladesh Business Council - Dubai, Chairman - NRB Bank Limited and Chairman & Managing Director - Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies, was part of the Bangladesh Business Delegation to New Delhi as entourage of Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina Wazed, Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, during her official visit to India from 7th to 10th April 2017. This was a monumental occasion that saw the signing of 11 deals and 24 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between the two nations during the state visit.

The main purpose of the official visit was to reaffirm relations between Bangladesh and India.
 
Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman (Nasir) CIP was invited in his capacity as the Founder President of the Bangladesh Business Council in Dubai.  The event was attended by captains of industry and commerce represented by umbrella organizations such as the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
 
During the visit Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman (Nasir) had the opportunity to interact with His Excellency Narendra Modi, Honorable Prime Minister of India as well as participated in the 'Seminar on Doing Business With Bangladesh' held on 8th April 2017 hosted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and receptions that were hosted in honour of the visit.

Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman (Nasir) CIP also got time to meet noted business delegates such Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President - Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) as well as being the leader of the Bangladesh Business Delegation to New Delhi.
